The greatest challenge we face as a performing arts organization is finding places to rehearse and perform. Putting on a musical requires 8+ weeks of three-times-a-week rehearsals, a full week of move-in, tech and dress rehearsals, plus the performances. Our community orchestra and choir will require weekly rehearsal space and performances space 4 times each year for concerts.

With the construction of Spotlight Playhouse, Lower Lights Theatre Company will finally have a home to call its own. Plus, we will be able to provide this space for rent at a reasonable rate for other local groups that struggle to find performance space.
